HVAC Repair in Palmetto, GA

I'm CHRIS, owner of Chris Can Fix It, based in Sharpsburg — about 15 minutes from Palmetto. I've been working on HVAC systems for over 20 years, and fall is when I stay the busiest in this part of Georgia. Homeowners who ignored a sluggish heat pump or a furnace with a weak ignitor all summer start calling when the first cold snap hits. I'd rather help you before that happens.

If your furnace won't ignite, the heat pump is blowing lukewarm air, or your system is short-cycling and shutting off before the house warms up — those aren't problems that fix themselves. I'll test the ignition sequence, check the flame sensor, inspect the gas valve, and verify the safety controls with real instruments. No guessing. You get a clear explanation and a written quote before I touch a part.

My $79 fall tune-up includes a free standard filter, a full safety inspection, and an honest read on where your system stands heading into winter. If something needs attention, I'll tell you exactly what and exactly what it costs. If it's fine, I'll tell you that too.

For a straight diagnosis on a specific problem, the $79 diagnostic covers the first 30 minutes on-site, travel, and professional testing. That fee doesn't disappear into a vague “service call” — it pays for a real answer.

Repairs carry a 2-year parts and labor warranty. Full system installations through ACiQ come with a 12-year compressor and 7-year parts warranty and my lifetime labor warranty. Those are the real terms — no invented packages, no fine print surprises.

Palmetto is in south Fulton County, with part of the city reaching into Coweta, north of Newnan. Housing here runs from older homes near downtown to newer subdivisions built in the last couple of decades. Older homes often have aging ductwork and tired furnaces. Newer builds usually have builder-grade systems that start having problems around year 10. Either way, I diagnose it myself and give you a clear quote before any work starts.

It's not only heating and AC. I also fix fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and ice makers in Palmetto. A fridge that's warm on top, a washer that won't drain or a dryer that runs without heat usually has a fixable cause. The $79 diagnostic covers the first 30 minutes on site, the testing and a clear explanation, and you get the repair quote before I start. Repairs carry a 2-year parts and labor warranty.
